Wild Style Celebrates 25 Years of Hip Hop
In celebration of Wild Style's 25th anniversary, the Hip Hop Awareness Council has partnered with Nonsense Records to throw a jam you won't forget!The party begins at 1pm. The event will feature our own Hakim Tafari and Tablehogs

It's time to bring out the linoleum, your Chucks and the freshest moves. Nonsense, Elements, and Deepvision unite once again to bring you the second installment of the Yes Yes Ya'll Park Jam Series. Scribble Jam
8-15 - Three of our artist traveled to Scribble Jam this year to compete in three different battles. X:144 is now the Scribblle Jam Producer Battle Champ, DJ SPS came in second place in the DJ Battle, and Madd Illz placed in the top eight in the M.C. Battle. Stone Soup Release Party!
6-12 - This Saturday is the Stone Soup Compilation release party. Unfortunately we had some problems with booking the healiner so we scaled down the once 20 band festival to a 6 band release party. Orlando Sentinel Compilation
3-29 - Orlando Sentinel picked a track from X:144 and SPS, S.K.I.P. and Holly Riggs to be on their annual compilation. This is a big compliment for Nonsense Records. They pick the best of the best of Orlando artists.The Sentinel will be hosting a release party for the compilation on May 12th at Backbooth. Stay tuned for more details.

3-21 - The Diverse Recourse tour starts tomorrow. Joey Beats and Blak Lungz will be headlining and taking Nonsense artist S.K.I.P. along with them on this 14 date east coast tour. 11/3/06 - Our very own Jalima Shani was featured in this weeks issue of Philidelphia's City Paper. The feature called Native Tongue talks about Jalima's upcoming battle "Art of War" between poets and emcees on Nov. 3rd. This should be a really interesting event offering $1000 dollars in prizes. 10/19/06 - X:144 and SPS' full length "m.e." gets a solid review in German hip-hop magazine Dead. The magazine is free for download. Click on the link and try to read for yourself. Being most of the magazine is in German you might need a translator. Rubox Cube won the BeatBox Battle at Lounge Battle 4 last week in the second round beating out Roman Beats. The prize was a $200 valued gear pack from Micism. Big ups to Rubox. Rumor has it that Rubox will be joining the Nonsense roster. Keep you eyes out for this cat. This man's beatbox skills are no joke.
Welcome aboard DJ Rod-1
Can we get a round of applause for DJ Rod-1! Now Rod-1 can officially scrap the Myspace title from in front of his name and replace it with The Official Nonsense Records DJ being that he is the newest artist to be added to the Nonsense roster.
