Twice as nice!
Yes ladies and gentlemen, the word on this street is indeed true. X:144 became the 2008 Lounge Battles Producer Champion for the second time. The final round contenders were AmIAm and X:144. The song to be sampled from was Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall" from "The Wall" album. It was a tough decision for the judges but X:144 pulled it off once again.
Get Plugged in with DiVinci
Props due to Nonsense alumnus, DiVinci of Sol.illaquists of Sound, for being the opening act for the 2008 Plug Independent Music Awards in New York City. Hosted by Patton Oswalt , this award show will feature some of the dopest hip hop acts such as EL-P, Saul Williams and Sage Francis. Tune into the Dell Lounge at 8pm to see the show live! You must sign up in order to see DiVinci rip it up on stage!

S.K.I.P. in the Weekly
That's right boys and girls! S.K.I.P. has made the papers. Featured in Bao Le-Huu's weekly section called This Little Underground. If you haven't picked up your copy go here to read the review of the Summerbirds in the Cellar show at the Social.
X:144 named a Redmatica Artist
In yet another award following his success at last year's Scribble Jam, X has been featured on Redmatica's website. Redmatica creates Keymap, the editing software X used to win the production battle.
Look out P.Diddy! There's a new restaurant in town!
Nonsense Records CEO/President, Kelly Shockley, adds his name to the list of hip hop moguls who have opened up resturants. The only difference is that the owner is also the chef. Ethos Vegan Kitchen will celebrate their grand opening on January 12! DJ Stereo 77 and the East Side Combo jazz trio will provide the music.
