X establishes presence with both his lyrical substance and accomplished production. My favorites: the guitar riff and Peas Porridge-esqe tap on Get Open, the languid piano on Evolve, X's verbal manipulation on H.O.E., and the slow-shuffling Don't Cry. More consciousness and beats compliments of X.
